The MV Ushuaia offers space for a maximum of 90 passengers in 46 comfortable cabins and suites. The ice-strengthened polar ship was originally built for the US agency NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) and is very well suited for an expedition cruise to Antarctica. She offers plenty of deck space and an open bridge. The Zodiac fleet, provides excellent landing and wildlife observation opportunities on the otherwise inaccessible coast.
All cabins are simply furnished, clean, have a private bathroom and plenty of storage space. Public areas include a large dining room, an open observation lounge and an auditorium with modern multimedia equipment. The bar and the well-stocked library also invite you to linger on board. There is also a changing room (mud-room for wet or dirty clothes after a landing) and a small infirmary for emergencies.
The captain, the officers and the crew have many years of experience in Antarctic shipping and a great love for nature. For each expedition, a specialized team of international guides and lecturers is always put together, all of whom are extremely competent, enthusiastic, helpful and committed to protecting the environment. The chefs prepare an excellent cuisine with many local specialities and the bar is well stocked with carefully selected wines and spirits.

The triple cabin has three beds, a porthole or window, a bedside table, a chair and a private bathroom with hairdryer.
The twin bed cabin has a bunk bed, porthole, table and chair and a wash basin. The bathroom with shower and toilet is shared with the neighbouring cabin. The bathroom is located between the cabins and can be locked from both sides.
The Standard Plus twin bed cabin has a bunk bed, porthole or window, table and chair and a private bathroom with hairdryer.
The Premier twin cabin has two beds, a window, a table and chair and a private bathroom with hairdryer.
