    50 Years of Victory

With the atomic ice breaker to the North Pole.

Since 2009, the "50 Years of Victory" has been sailing with adventurers to the North Pole in the summer, while for the rest of the year she is used as a working ship to keep the Northeast Passage ice-free. The vessel is also used for scientific and supply purposes in the high Arctic. She is one of the largest icebreakers in the Arctic. Powered by two nuclear reactors, the IB 50 Years of Victory, with its incredible 75,000 hp, achieves a top speed of 21 knots. Thanks to the very special spoon-shaped bow, even three meter thick pack ice is no problem for her.

In addition to the restaurant with gourmet cuisine and the Victory Bar, there is also an aft saloon for readings, presentations and meetings; a shop; library & lounge; a fitness room; a swimming pool with heated seawater and two saunas. There is also a small medical station where a trained ship's doctor can treat you in case of an emergency.

For extra action, the "50 Years of Victory" also has a helicopter on board, inviting you to experience the landscape from a different perspective.

On board the IB 50 Years of Victory there is room for around 124 passengers in 64 outside cabins. With the "50 Years of Victory", you will set off for the northernmost point on our planet.
