The MS Ocean Nova is a modern and comfortable expedition ship. She was built in Denmark in 1992 to sail in the ice-covered waters of Greenland.
She was completely renovated in 2006 and has benefited from annual upgrades and improvements ever since. Her ice-strengthened hull is ideal for expeditions to the Antarctic.
For our air cruises, Ocean Nova can accommodate up to 67 passengers in three accommodation categories. In addition to a glazed observation lounge and a presentation room, Ocean Nova has a spacious dining room, a bar, a library, a small fitness room and a medical station. The ship has a fleet of seven Zodiac boats, which are well suited for disembarking ashore and observing animals.
All guests on board Ocean Nova are accommodated in comfortable outside cabins, which are divided into three cabin categories: single, double and triple cabins. Four-bed cabins are also available on request. All cabins have a panoramic window, a desk and chair, a wardrobe, individually adjustable heating and a private bathroom with shower.
