The MV Ortelius was built in 1989 as an ice-breaking passenger ship and is named after the Dutch geographer and cartographer Abraham Ortelius (1527-1598). She was last renovated and revised in 2018. Experience on the robust, agile and comfortable

On deck and on the open bridge you have the opportunity to observe the breathtaking landscape and animal life. You will also have the opportunity to explore the landscape and wildlife on various zodiac tours on the water. The ship is equipped with comfortable cabins for 108 passengers. All cabins are bright outside cabins and have portholes or windows and a private bathroom with shower.
The public areas include a U-shaped restaurant, a bar and a lecture room, where the informative exploration program is explained by lecturers and guides.
The helicopter can only be used on designated trips and in accordance with local regulations.
